Talent readiness and availability at every level within the Group is a priority
to ensure business continuity. It is for this reason that we place considerable
importance to succession management and planning. Preparing successors is the responsibility
of every manager. At the Group level we take every effort to ensure leaders are
aware of their strengths and areas for development in order for them to be able
to constantly improve their skills and capabilities not only from a technical perspective,
but more importantly from a leadership point of view.
Development opportunities are given to leaders in order to prepare them for future
roles. These opportunities come in the form of rotational / short term assignments,
on-job-training, coaching / mentoring and formal classroom training.
